French Recipe Mille-Feuille
Ingredients:
– 1 sheet of puff pastry
– 200g dark chocolate, melted
– 300g fresh raspberries
– 250ml heavy cream
– 50g powdered sugar
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– Cocoa powder, for dusting
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
2. Roll out the puff pastry sheet and cut it into three equal rectangles.
3. Place the rectangles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Prick them with a fork to prevent them from puffing up too much.
4. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool.
5. In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
6. Once the puff pastry rectangles have cooled, spread melted dark chocolate evenly over one rectangle using a spatula.
7. Place a layer of fresh raspberries on top of the chocolate.
8. Spread a layer of whipped cream over the raspberries.
9. Repeat the layers with the remaining two puff pastry rectangles.
10. Dust the top pastry rectangle with cocoa powder.
11. Carefully stack the puff pastry rectangles on top of each other, creating a mille-feuille.
12. Place in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld and the cream to set.
13. Slice and serve chilled. Enjoy the decadent temptation of chocolate raspberry mille-feuille!
